Ingredients
For the dough:
150 g butter
6 eggs
300 g sugar
300 g flour
1,5 pckg. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla marc
For the cream:
350 g butter {room temperatured}
300 g sugar
3 double espresso {strong}
2 caps of rum
marc of 3 vanilla beans
for spreading:
2 espresso
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
for decoration:
coconut flakes
flowers
Vanillacake with Cappuccino-Buttercream
As you may have seen, we love coffee in all variations. Wether as Cappuccino, Iced Coffee, Dessert – Coffee is always going. But we don’t only want to drink coffee. We also create delicious cakes, tartes, cookies and other sweet things. There is no day without coffee for us. Especially on the weekend, we love to enjoy time together with our family – and from time to time, of course, the right dessert may not be missing! So also not on Mother’s Day. Therefore we have conjured a cake that has it all: coffee. Our vanillacake is filled with cappuccino buttercream and soaked in coffee all over. Some espresso beans on top provide even more coffee enjoyment in and on the cake. So your mum’s will fall in love with this vanillacake with cappuccino-buttercream on Mother’s Day.
