MATTEO´s BABYPARTY

I´m very pleased to show you my babyshower for MATTEO here with all the recipes, ideas, decor, partytipps & DIY tutorials. I organized this party for my best girls togehter with my beloved friend Quirina Felizitas who is a very popular austrian fashion- and styleblogger with her blog www.the18thdistrict.at. In our passion as food- & lifestyleblogger we were strived to style the whole party with our own, handmade ideas. Therefore we worked on delicious recipes that all have a wow effect and a perfect look on the finger buffet and the sweet candy buffet to show you on our blogs. Next to it we want to give you an idea that a babyparty don´t has to be trashy or full of tull and tons of kitschy stuff.

A babyshower is a perfect way to meet your best ladies, decorate the whole house and  spend some hours full of fun, happy times and wonderful gifts with them and celebrate the last party for your baby will arrive.

Whatever the partytheme is pink or baby-blue, also a babyparty can be a cool and stylish party with dresscode (as i did it in blue, grey and white) like my whole party decor. We used the babystuff and the furniture that i got already in MATTEOs babyroom for the decor next to the baby clothes and nostalgic plush toys. Our handmade flower decor was made of white roses and hydrangeas. My own “mommy-to-be” party outfit was completed by a handmade flower crown with gysophila and marguerites.

A photo booth with funny gadgets, onesies that could be coloured and designed by the girls and the traditional guessing game about my actual belly circumference could also not be missed.

A good party need some delicious food – please find the perfect babyparty-recipes here. Don´t forget to serve some spicy snacks because not everybody likes sweets.

We served twice options of

Quiche (vegetables and champignons)

Couscous Salad

Sweet Candy Buffet:

Baby boy party cookies

Rainbow layer cake made with blue bisquits and lemoncream

Mini-chocolate cupcakes with lemon cream (including cupcake toppers for free download)

Panna Cotta with strawberry topping

Meringues (blue & white)

Lemon mascarpone cake pops

Before my guests went home (really late in the night because the party was so great and we had so much fun) the got a funny favour with a message with my “Ready to pop” popcorn giveaway.

Many thanks to Carletto Photography for saving the memories on this day in wonderful pictures. www.carletto.at
