Ingredients
500 ml strong coffee {espresso}
6 tbsp. sugar
marc of 1 vanilla bean
75 ml rum 60%
150 ml heavy cream or milk

Prepare 500 ml strong coffee. Scrape out a vanilla bean and stir the vanilla marc and the sugar and rum in the coffee. Pour the rum-coffee-mixture into a bowl and freeze it for three to four hours. Stir it from time to time – it should not freeze evenly! After about three hours, mix the granita with a fork and fill it into glasses. Pour the heavy cream or milk on top oft he granita and enjoy it immediately.
