Ingredients:
90 g dark chocolate
75 g butter
75 g sugar
1 pck. vanilla sugar (=8 g)
2 eggs (size M)
1 pinch of salt
100 g flour
25 g starch
1 tsp baking powder
5 tbsp heavy cream
1 dash of rum
icing sugar for decoration
fat for the form
Preparation:
Melt the chocolate over a waterbath. Beat the sugar with the vanilla-sugar. Add the melted chocolate, then the egg. Next add the flour, the starch and the baking powder. Add the heavy cream and a dash of rum. Put the dough into a lamb-cake-pan and let it bake for about 45 minutes at 175 degrees.
Put the lamb out of the pan and let it cool down.
Tipp: if the cake is not baked consistently, cut off a bit of the base.
Decorate the lamb with sugar colours and icing sugar. That’s it – the Chocolate easter lamb is finished!
